Licensing & Accreditation

Licensure and accreditation are an important phase to establishing validity of skills and services.  The process involves a governmental agency or a peer group permitting time-limited approval to an individual or entity to engage in a given profession after confirming predetermined criteria such as education, skill assessment, and experience have been met.

Mallard Gardner attorneys are familiar with the dealings of the Joint Commission, Arkansas State Medical Board, Arkansas State Nursing Board, the Office of Long Term Care, Department of Humans Services, with regard to accreditation matters.  We assist with licensing and accreditation in the fields of medicine, chiropractic, pharmacy, nursing, physical therapy, home health, hospice, durable medical equipment, physician assistant, and respiratory therapy.
